Mexican Spice Grilled Chicken Sandwiches

INGREDIENTS

4 Wonder™ 100% Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

For the seasoning mix:

2 tbsp of chili powder

1 tsp powdered garlic

1/2 tsp cumin

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp coarse black pepper

1/2 tsp kosher salt

Salsa

1 small de-seeded tomato, , diced

¼ cup bell pepper, , diced

1/2 a jalapeño pepper, , minced

zest of 1/2 lime, , minced

juice of 1/2 lime

1 clove garlic, , minced

¼ cup red onion, , diced

salt and pepper to season


DIRECTIONS

To prepare the salsa, mix all of the ingredients for the salsa together in a glass bowl and set aside.

Mix all of the ingredients in the seasoning mix together and sprinkle generously all over the chicken breasts.

Grill over medium-high heat for about 7-8 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts.

Serve topped with the fresh salsa on toasted Wonder™ 100% Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns.
