The problem with ordering mudbugs via FedEx, is you need to order a blank-ton of them

But so worth it for something I never had/did before.

Spoked to be dripping in butter n spices I thought?

To me?

I made a dipping sauce and spiced them up with the Cajun seasoning after putting everything in a bowl.
But it was a while back in time. Youtube was still being "run" by backyard mudbug boilers ;)
I could have done it wrong...
But I'm from PA. That's my excuse for Cajun cooking :angelic:

I’m waaaay under qualified to answer what with being from a different time zone and country.
I just followed instructions for a ‘seafood boil’ from someone who was southern American.
It was very good.

If you haven't yet, you need to Google New England or crab boil.
IMO, much better bang for your buck. Not dealing with fiddly food and sucking heads, lol.

Or Maryland.

But I like a good Gulf Coast seafood boil with shrimp, blue crab, and crayfish with plenty of Cajun seasoning. I don't suck the heads, but I'm from Florida, so I always gave them to my boyfriends.

There was a member here some time ago that introduced me to it and I was a reluctant convert. It involved a lot of butter!
But so good.

OK well, since we've got a thread on the topic now, there was this one time I was in Shanghai and it must have been the season because crayfish was being offered everywhere.

In the hotel I was staying there was a buffet that looked something like this (I wish I could find my own pics which I took, but can't...) with 4 or 5 different preparations and flavours - plain, chili, mala, etc.. I had several plates (and went through quite a few napkins cleaning my fingers) but it does get a bit tiresome peeling them and like I said, 80% shell... what tiny morsel of meat you do get is very delicious though.
