Hi and WelcomeHey everyone! I'm from sunny california. I love spicy foods & everything that has to do with chocolate and desserts. I'm young still, so I dont have too much experience so I hope I gain some knowledge and what not from this website. Happy cooking!
Hi and welcomeHi everyone!
I live in North East England though I am Northern Irish. I love to experiment with spicy food (Indian, Korean, Ethiopian) but have very basic skills! I am mostly interested in learning to cook healthy meals from scratch and minimise the processed stuff I eat. I would love to grow my own vegetables some day and want to learn to can!
The only food I really don't like is strawberries! Everything else is fair game.![]()
Hi and welcome
There are quite a few of us here who love spicy food.. @morning glory is one of them, but she is about to head off for a week's holiday...
(and sorry for the delay - I'm on holiday at the moment too!)

Welcome! Good to have some more Canadians on board. Talking of which, its helpful to put your location under your picture. To see how folllow this link How to add your location to below your avatar. Have fun.Used the 'Reply' button to post... not sure if that was the 'right' way to do things, but I couldn't find a regular 'post' button. Hopefully this will appear in the proper place. My apologies early on, if not!
Hello, to all CookingBites Members!
My name is Jayme-Leigh, and I am a 30 year old female writer/artist, enthusiastic home cook, & soon to be *drumroll, please!*, .... first time gardener. I'm from Ontario, Canada, and I figured that it was about time that I joined a cooking forum. I dream about food, lol. I look forward to spending some time here reading posts and sharing posts, as well as maybe making some fellow foodie friends.I'm happy to be here, and it is nice to meet you all! Thanks for creating a great site, Shaun!
Hi and welcome Lili.Hello. I'm Lili and I kind of travel around different states in the US. My mom is Korean and my dad was American, so I grew up learning to cook a little of this and that. I enjoy cooking and learning new things. I like trying out new recipes.
Hi Amelie and welcome to CookingBites.Hi guys, I'm Amelie from the Philippines. Full disclosure: I'm a pretty terrible cook. The most recent meal I had prepared was lentil soup. I got the recipe from a Youtube channel. The host swore up and down that it's really good. I followed the recipe to the letter; I even watched the video three times. The result? Inedible swill. I don't know what's wrong with me! But I don't want to give up. I'd learn how to cook if it's the last thing I do.![]()
