The closest we've come to using any supermarket delivery was back when we lived in the Surrey, in the UK. (there is a Surry in NSW). We came home one day to our countryside, rural home to find an Ocado delivery on our doorstep. There was a helpful message that said I though I would leave it given you are not in.
We contacted Ocado - the delivery driver must have only just left it because there were 5 blocks of butter in it and it was +28C outside and they were not even vaguely soft.
We were told we could have everything except for the alcohol. Whoever had ordered it, must have been throwing a garden party. There was a massive amount of everything. Some stuff ended up in the freezer for months before we could consume it all, and other stuff - meats and such went to friends. Boy did we enjoy that delivery. There was over GBP 500 of produce without the alcohol!
Sadly in Australia we can't get online delivery from supermarkets so no surprises on our doorstep.
(Over the years at that place, we had loads of stuff left because we were the dot for the center of our postcode - 750Kg of chicken food, GBP 1,000 of alcohol - another very rich neighbour apparently are just a few of the wonderful delights we found!)
