Ordering Out.

I would call and give them hell.
Btw, I used to live in Brookline MA.happens,
My friend did that. They said they were sorry, but they did not offer a complimentary meal!!!! Something like that happens, the best way to hurt them is to never deal with them again from home!!!!!!!!! :stop:

I do that too, I give them hell and don’t frequent their businesses anymore.

The problem here is paying for the stuff. The internet/wi-fi is devilishly slow, so sometimes I lose the connection, have to restart, call them to make sure they've got the payment, etc. PITA!
I can imagine. I always call in our orders, because if you want to do it online, there's usually an extra charge, which is absurd.

Living in a large town in the UK, I have plenty of choice but its something I rarely do. If I order anything its likely to be from an Indian restaurant. Having said that I order all food and other weekly shopping items on line and have done for years. I can't remember the last time I set foot in a supermarket.

I go out regularly even in COVID time which is the time people were ordering online most.

We order out but we go pick the food. Never had food delivered ever, even my kids they don't like Doordash and the like, they will walk to the local shops and buy the food, bring the food back home.

Same here, delivery drivers usually have a few drops so by the time they get to us it would be cold so I collect on the very odd occasion we have take out.

Next time that I get anything from Jersey Mike's, I will get in the car, go there myself & watch them like a hawk!! I will not take my eyes off of them until the order is paid for. I will never again order from the house!!!!!:mad:

When we use to have to drive 9 1/2 hours (one way) to go visit my mom in California, we'd stop for the night in Tehachapi, CA and always went to a sandwich joint that we liked.
The last time through, years ago, I ordered our regular at the counter as a to-go order to have back in our hotel.
We were just about to leave the parking lot, when I looked in the bag and they got DH's sandwich totally WRONG!
THERE'S MAYO ON THIS, DAMN IT ALL!
I stormed back in, went straight over to the folks that put the sandwiches together, asked politely for the sand to be re-made... this time I watched them!
THREE TIMES they got it wrong!!!
We haven't been back, thank goodness, but now my mom lives 30-45 minutes away from us!
