Another merger on the horizon! And another distiller giant in the distance.
The problem with these huge mergers, for me, is that the product is no longer a priority; profit is.
I might add that I say that as a firm believer in entrepreneurship; but mega-mergers like this might be always involve collateral damage. Some of the less profitable, and probably better-tasting products could well end up in the bin.
NOT a fan of Jack Daniels; there are dozens of better bourbon whiskeys in the USA.

Mergers are not normally good; they result in products being cut and original recipes being amended to reduce costs.

I don't like Jack Daniels, but I do like pernod (although I prefer Ricard)
