Pet Hates

Reckon I would have done something similar as well.

Another thing I hate when shoppiing is when people leave their carts in the middle of the isle so you can't get by and walk off look at stuff. That happened to us when we went to wegmans .... my reaction, simple (as the cart was near the end of the isle, I simply pushed it out of the road - and an isle or two away :) :)

One of the reasons I hate shopping - inconsiderate, obnoxious people :(

Oh and it's like when you have a zillion items and the dumb ass using the cash register thing asks if you want a bag ... so many times I have wanted to say ......

Nah, I'll just shove them up my butt and cut out the moddle man - what do you think??????????
The shopping cart in the middle of the aisle happens at least once every time we shop, and usually several times. And, we always shop on a weekday, late morning, when most people are at work and not out running errands at lunchtime.

What really got me though about my incident was she was my age, probably a bit older, so not young and grew up when manners didn't matter, and/or wasn't on her phone yakking and oblivious to everything around her, just decided she was going to unload whether I was done or not.

They steal my empty shopping cart, so now my husband always puts something(not something we want to buy either) in the cart otherwise we will lose ours.
I do the same thing. I’m someone who generally parks their cart in one spot and then shops that area, trotting back and forth with things in my arms, instead of pushing my cart everywhere I go - it keeps from clogging up already narrow spaces.

Even today’s super-gigantic hyper markets can’t seem to get it into their heads to leave enough room for the carts.

Not a lot of choices here in Hooterville. There's two Walmarts, a Kroger, and a Publix.
We don't have one in our city. But the city next to us has one. But I shop very locally as it takes me 5 minutes to get there. I just realized after 5 years of buying a brand new car, I only put in 20k, that shows you how little I drive.

And what if that 1 spot is blocking items someone wants? There are very few spots a cart can be parked and not end up blocking someone from getting to an item. I understand you are helping in your mind, but I've seen others do that and they leave their cart at the end of an aisle, where the sale items are usually stocked, and block others from getting what they want unless they move your cart.

I don’t mind if someone nudges my cart to get to something I may be blocking, that’s just common sense and no one should get upset either way - the fact is, at some point, you’re gonna have to stop that cart somewhere to get something. I’d rather do so in a more open area than a normal narrow aisle.

For example, we have a large holiday nuts display in our produce section - all the same varieties of nuts all the way round. Not a big deal to park my cart there…unless you want that one particular bag of mixed nuts from the 250 other bags of mixed nuts that my cart happens to be blocking, then sure, scooch it a bit to get them.

There are lots of places that are less obtrusive, though you’re right, nothing is 100% guaranteed to not impact someone else at some point in the store, whether you’re a parker or a pusher.

I usually come up behind and say "Excuse me!" in a loud voice...:D
I do too if they don't notice or pretend not to notice after a little bit, it's just the entitlement if parking in the middle and taking up the whole aisle.

Oh, and what about when the whole family comes to grocery shop and end up blocking the whole aisle because apparently they think they have the whole store to themselves.
