Pizza on the Grill

Definitely. Pizza on the grill is A-ok on my end. I usually put aluminum foil under it when I do though just so the bread won't go through or the oil won't slip the foil. Pizzas are made in the oven and its the same science as on the grill so why not right? :)

Webber do a bbq specialist pizza tray for their domed bbqs,my friend has one and it's quite good addition

I was actually wondering the other day if this would be possible with either frozen or freshly made pizza! I will have to try this sometime as I would love to have a veg pizza with a delicious smoky/BBQ flavour added! :)

I picked up a frozen pizza the other day (not very healthy I know :). ) But I thought it would be a quick meal for us. As I was looking at the packaging and cooking instructions it said that it could be put on the grill as well. Has anyone tried a frozen pizza, or any pizza for that matter on the grill? It seems as though it would make the crust too crunchy and it would burn easily.
I haven't tried a pizza on the grill, but I am sure I will sometime as I use my grill often and I love pizza. I have a gas grill so I have a good idea what the temperature is at all times. instead of just slapping the pizza on the grill though, obviously pre heating it like you do the oven and watching to make sure the grill stays at the appropriate temperature would be important to do with grilled pizza.

Yes, I've cooked frozen pizza on the BBQ. It's easy. I've tried it two ways. The first time I put the frozen pizza on a pizza pan and placed that on the BBQ, so I basically used my BBQ as an oven. The second way I did was to place the pizza directly on the grill. Both ways work great.
