Pizza Ovens

I did look at those but 500f max is a bit too far off over 930f (500 celcius).
!!!!????
What? A pizza oven that maxes out at 500f?! What the hell? A conventional oven goes past that. A pizza oven should be able to hit 800-900f degrees. You need that heat for a specific crust texture and char.

28 "Napolino 70 Outdoor Pizza Oven Only $5,000 USD. totally practical to cook a $4 piece of food. 😂🙃🍕 As soon as I hit the lottery, I'm getting this bad boy!

All this talk of pizza and I'm thinking how to build an oven. Upside down gas burner ring, firebrick box, no thermostat just a gas petcock, venturi air intake... 🤔

It would definitely be "largish"...
pft. Hold my beer, A hair dryer, and an upside-down metal garbage can with dents in it. 🍕 🤣

Just because you have no idea doesn't mean I don't. You miss the part about the gas burner ring???

I've had smelters in Nevada to mine gold and this is a lot cooler...

(Gold melts around 1,900°F depending on how pure it is.) You have to amalgamate it to extract it but I'm sure you knew all that.

It’s not for inside the machine and so wouldn’t really help with multiple pizzas going in the oven.
But thanks for looking.
Tbh nothings safe at that temp apart from metal and stone.
Even my 500c gloves (the best I could find) are only good for 10 seconds!

I think you may have misread. It’s well over 500c and 500c is 932f

I thought they came in different sizes? Also, couldn't you cut one to fit? IDK. I think you might have just come across your Shark Tank invention!

Anyone not familiar with Shark Tank, it's a show on American television where people with products and ideas pitch to a group of wealthy investors trying to make a deal to promote their business. I have watched it a few times and the investors often say that the best products come from people who invent something that solves a problem...

It’s a heat resistant mat for putting your oven on, not a non-stick mat so it’s not super smooth. The pizza would sink into that weave very nicely indeed 😂

There’s a big difference between ‘heat resistance’ and ‘heat proof’.
My pizza oven gloves are ‘heat resistant’ to 932F and I have managed to melt part of them because resistant means they’ll only withstand the direct temp for a limited time.

Edit - and no unfortunately you can’t cut fibreglass. Well you can but you don’t want the end pieces of fibreglass etc in your food so most mats will say Do Not Cut.

I got a pair of these years ago, and they were garbage. Regular oven mitts were better than these. I couldn't even tolerate taking a baking sheet out of the oven. This is when I developed total mistrust of Amazon reviews. No way these were legitimately 5 stars.

I didn't read the details enough to know it was fiberglass, lol.
