Going to be 83F. Pool party at my youngest daughter's house this afternoon.

I’m planning on roasting a chicken today as well.

Sainsburys used to have counter with freshly cooked whole chickens etc...that is now gone so we have gone back to cooking our own.

I'll probably be roasting today!! Going to be over 93F and humid today. Which means it will likely be closer to 100F without the heat index.

It is hot here today, staying inside.

Ironing is done, chicken almost done. Love the smell of freshly cooked chicken.

We still have those here, but I don’t like them, because after they’ve been roasted or broasted or whatever they do to them, the stores throw them into a plastic container or a plastic bag and seal them up, so the perfectly crispy skin goes all gummy.
