Plans for today (2025)

Oh dear that is a lot to deal with. Exhausting stuff too. Take care of yourself please 🙏
Oh thank you, I will be fine, the nephew thing has been going on for a few weeks and he's now in Utah at a psychiatric facility. It's calming down on that end since he will be there for quite some time. Enough time to blow through the rest of the inheritance his grandma left him.

The other two things will be fine, I can handle that for a few weeks before we leave for our beach vacation.

I don't have anyone nipping at my heels like you do, thankfully.

I don't doubt for a moment you’ll handle it all with your usual aplomb!

I actually got a little irritated with DH's cousin because she posted a link to a calendar she sent to everyone for family members to go in and update to select which "chores" they will do on which dates, which I guess is a good way to keep people from overlapping each other, but still rather presumptuous that everyone is going to offer to help. She has laundry day listed in the calendar, that one will not be mine! I will cook some food, go see her, help her eat it if necessary, make sure food gets put away, and that's that. If DH goes with me he can take her trash to the curb. And I don't mind checking mail or running to the post office, pharmacy, or grocery store as needed. Oh, DH's cousin also posted a way to make donations. She's being practical, but it's not nice to assume that everyone has the financial means to help. Also I think she should have called everyone personally before sending out the text with her demands...
