Getting my haircut, noggin massage, holistic healing session today. I usually go every six weeks, but events of late means I haven’t been there since early June, so I’m overdue for some Tasty Time.

Got an appointment at 3:15 then picking my youngest daughter and her husband to take them to the airport at 5. They're going to the UK for a wedding and will be there until Monday. My daughter was living there for awhile for work and made a lot of friends she's,stayed in touch with over the years.

One of the main reasons I keep going to my hairdresser is because she gives the BEST scalp massages. I mean I like the way she does my hair too, but the scalp massage is the best part!Getting my haircut, noggin massage, holistic healing session today. Besides her absolutely sparkling personality, the one thing I’ll single out with mine is when she works on my jaw - she sort of hooks her finger in my ear to get some leverage, and as she’s pulling in one direction with that, she’s pushing down really hard on my jaw, starting just below my ear and running all the way to my chin.
Some days, I think she’s going to break my jaw, she presses so hard, but it feels great!

Just got home from a halal butcher.
I bought 3 whole fillet steaks . 1 for me and our son and daughter. $206
I know the guy so he looks after me
$30 kg cheap as chips.
He wants me to drop him some of my garlic sauce.
Currently waiting on lisa to pick hers up.

Lots on today so it’s time for me to stop prevaricating.
Dog groomer coming (they cancelled a couple of weeks ago), massage (that’s gonna hurt), some rudimentary housework (hoover up furballs), some actual work and then food delivery this evening so the chicken can be brined and spatchcocked in time for friday evening when the laziest of lazy cooking will take place - smoked chicken and salad

Not much besides work. I think I might bake some cookies - that’s a rarity for me.

Well I was going to go do some work today, but it's a beautiful day here in NE Ohio--sunny and 80F right now (high of 83), which is perfect weather to sit out by the lake at this little bar we like that has outdoor seating by the water's edge. They have decent food and we will get a bucket of beer and watch the ducks, geese, and any boats that might be out. Just a peaceful and serene way to spend a Thursday afternoon. Probably leave around 3:30 or so and stay til the sun goes down.

Kinda late in the day for you to do much of anything, isn't it?Sneaking up on 90F here.Going to do my gas station audit and scoot back inside.
Bummer.
I think I'm on my 3rd since moving "here" in 2001. Fortunately I can replace my own. I couldn't believe the price two years ago for the last one. They used to be relatively cheap for a 50gal gas water heater.
