Plans for today (2025)

I started off in the garden this morning. I was determined to eliminate some of the ever-present guinea grass, which seems to go forth and multiply at the same rate as rabbits. I cut most of the grass down to stumps, and tomorrow, I'm going to spray the damned things with petrol to see if that kills them off.
I also transplanted 2 curry leaf plants, which were getting too big for their pots.

I've a concoction from used truck fluids that works well. Equal volumes, I use a quart, of transmission fluid, radiator fluid, 1 cup of salt, 1 quart of water, and about 3 oz of cheap dishwashing soap. Shake it all up to an emulsion and apply liberally, it's even rainproof... Don't get it on painted surfaces... It's cheaper than petrol since it's already used and I'm driving a gas pig truck already.

No, it's a condo with a full kitchen.
Here's the kitchen and living room. With stuff everywhere, lol. The bedroom and bathroom are down the hall.

I'm the one who plans our trips. Since I cook I make sure I have what I need, and a full kitchen is necessary. We haven't gone out for a meal yet but Tuesday we are going to our favorite pizza place. Well it's an Italian restaurant but they have great wood fired oven pizza.

We also have a washer and dryer which is awesome. It's so quiet in this unit and the beds are super comfortable. They gave us 2 queens so we just alternate from one bed to the other, or if DH snores I move over to the other one.

Something I'm all too familiar with 😆

Although I will say a side effect is it gives me a very advantageous asset of being extremely effective in a very short time span when the sh*ts about to hit the fan 😆
