Plans for today (2025)

I made an executive decision this morning when I got up:
we will do nothing today! it's our day off for a change, because it seems like we something to do every single day, not today!

That’s how we both feel about Sundays - we don’t even leave the house if we can help it.

I work all day sundays as I'm cooking for 10 family and growing grandkids.
But we all love it.

if I don't find it within 10 minutes, I'm out of there.

That's why online shopping works. No schlepping to the shops for a brief gander to return home empty handed.
Type it in what you want and order. Couldn't be easier.

I try to only order from bricks and mortar shops for lots of reasons but one of them is not wasting my time looking for things in places that don't have what I want in stock.

Yesterday I bought a new sat nav. I went online clicked 'try before you buy' and half an hour later got a text saying it was waiting.

Walk up to the tills, pick it up, leave.
Fast and simple.
