Plans for today (2025)

If he can play anything close to Richie McCaw, watch out because you're going to have a superstar in the family!

I was pretty good myself in my youth. My son was too small (son only 5foot) harry over that and from first game I said to my wife, he's pretty good. Hes also a naturally gifted scrummager.

I hadn't planned this at all, but realised these mangoes had been here for a few days.
I got given two huge bags of green mangoes last week (about 20 kgs). Gave a bag to the cleaner, another to my neighbour and yet another to the fridge technician! Still got about 14 kgs, so I peeled them today, and tomorrow, I'm going to chop them up and freeze them, so I can make mango chutney (as soon as I can get hold of some jars).

We love mango chutney. How do you make it please?

How about a Thai green mango salad? That'll use up two of them. :)

Run errands for my husband who still can't drive due to ankle sprain. Go pick up my prescriptions and get stuff to make a pot of spaghetti sauce to take to our oldest daughter's house Saturday. We got a hotel about 1.5 miles from their house so we can actually get some sleep Saturday night, lol. Plus they have 2 dogs and a cat so my allergies will go haywire. She lives 2 hours away up on Lake Erie so we don't see her, her husband, or our grandkids often.

Furnace-A/C guy coming out to do the twice-yearly checkup…work…and in my own for a good part of the evening, as MrsT is meeting with a client about booking a “girls’ trip” to Japan - should this happen, it’ll be the first Japan trip she’s done.

Some office work, then I dug out a roll of material I've had for years.
Put it in the car (235 cm long, but it fitted) and brought it to the local tailor, together with the cushions that need some tender loving care.
I saw he's also making life jackets, so may get some of those when I got a bit of money.
