Very tender though, well the stuff they sell here is.Ostrich is very lean meat.
He certainly looks very sorry he did itThe IPL (Indian Premier League) has been suspended for a week because of the India/Pakistan conflict, so all of a sudden, I've got loads more time on my hands.
First task: cut up all the green mangoes and freeze them for future mango chutney preparation.
Second task: buy some tomatoes and a new vegetable rack for the kitchen.
How do these two go together??
I bought a small container of cherry tomatoes on Wednesday, ate a couple of them, then put them on the veg rack in the kitchen. Last night, the container was gone. Mr Porky had picked up the container, sneaked it out into the garden and eaten the lot.View attachment 128274
Right, and her husband has a M-F 9-5 job so that's the only day they were available.Mind you I realise that will cut you no slack when it comes to a stressed mum with a prem baby waiting at the other end![]()

Mr Porky is like "Have any more please?"The IPL (Indian Premier League) has been suspended for a week because of the India/Pakistan conflict, so all of a sudden, I've got loads more time on my hands.

How ironic that there are tomato plants in pots just behind him. karadekoolaid when your plants bear fruit, will he pick it off them for a snack or does he only like the ones that are washed and come into containers? He certainly looks very sorry he did it![]()
Sometimes you need to talk to people like that. I have a friend I have coffee and s chat with. He was laid off work but hes 65 and is struggling. He was up front with me so I take the time to talk guy stuff with him. Hes got plenty of money but just struggles not being in work. I figure I can spare an hour or so a week. He says he feels much better when we part.Got bike valet here this morning and tbh he’s hard work. He suffers from some mental health issues and requires a lot of input so I’m glad I have the chiropractors booked and will be out of here for most of it.
Then it’s breakfast BBQ, have some supermarket specials for that, ‘Asian salt n Pepper pork belly’ ‘Tikka Chicken Breast Steaks’ ‘BBQ Hot Dog Sausages’ (they look like some bizarre jumbo sausage flavoured like a hot dog), ‘Ostrich Burgers’ and the fishmongers had some beautiful looking raw shell on prawns and langoustines so some of those too.
Made the coleslaw and the potato salad to go with yesterday.
Better go get the BBQ out!
