Plan for today is to stick to the first day of my detox.
I'm half looking forward to it and half not.
The last few weeks while things have been stressful I've noticed my alcohol consumption has increased and I feel a bit crap as a consequence.
I'm not sure I have anything else I actually want to detox from?! I already don't smoke, don't drink caffeine, rarely eat chocolate, don't eat a lot of sugar, nitrates, sulphites or oxalates. I avoid diary and can't eat gluten and minimise the things that upset my dodgy guts so I'm prone to think anything else would be unnecessarily punitive.
I mean really it's lucky I can still swear like a trooper or I'd be so squeaky clean I'd probably have no friends
Maybe I could buy some nice teas, that always seems to make me feel somehow virtuous
Does anyone else detox or have periods of 'clean eating'?
If you do what does it entail?
If it's eating lots of salads you can count me out
