Mod.edit: This and following few posts moved to form new topic (MG).

I should probably take the bike out for a putt this year. And today is supposed to be warm again. An ankle problem kept me off it all summer. In spite of the hotter than usual weather.
It won't be long it will be cold and rainy.

Ooo bike. What bike?

I picked up a small Honda a couple years ago. After several years without and then wanting something more nimble and an old man can easily push around. I tried a couple others, but settled on an SCL500.

ETA: I've done a couple more things to it since this pic.

That’s lovely.
Great choice. Nice looking and all the advantages of owning Honda 👍

I used to have a Honda CB400F :)

I would gladly trade it in on that BSA in your avatar... if we still had a dealer somewhat close.
The BSA is lovely, the sort of bike that you can ride and hold onto your licence. It’s probably going to be my winter bike which makes me nervous for it’s paintwork but hey there has to be a winter bike so wotcha gonna do?!

I’ve missed the entire summers worth of riding due to having elderly infirm parents to deal with on one side and crazy elderly in-laws on the other. It’s been over two months since I’ve ridden and it’s driving me crazy! But I’m back home now so should be able to fit in a cold rainy ride soon 😂

My current favourite is an Indian Scout, hell of a bike, does slow sight seeing potter along speeds well and has great power delivery when you want it.

You dog you!
I drool over the Scouts everytime I'm at the toy store.
If I was getting a big heavy bike again, that's what it would be.

I never should have gotten rid of my Harley Night Rod

A dresser just isn't me. Not for short rides around "the hood".

The Scout is a real surprise on how light it is to manoeuvre. I’m a 5’ 4” lightweight with arms like Kermit the frog and I find it very easy push in and out of the garage.

The dresser really does look the bees knees though doesn’t it.
The Night Rod looks like it has quite some rake on it, or is that just the angle of the pic?

It's a long bike. At 6-1, with the forward controls, it fit me very well. I could make that bike crawl along an inch at a time.
Nice.
My other half’s Low Rider is 670llbs. I dropped it on myself once (dislike Harley side stands), fortunately I was pushed to the floor and the Harley didn’t fully land on me because 😬 it fell onto his two day old new F800 that was parked up next to it 🫣
