I'm still harvesting! What’s going on in your garden (2025)?
My peppers are still going and I got a pail of green tomatoes for relish. I got too many tomatoes. I'll lose a couple of small pails. I just didn't have enough time to deal with them.I'm still harvesting! What’s going on in your garden (2025)?
I'm going to do something with my green tomatoes this year. I wish I could jar them and they not get soft.My peppers are still going and I got a pail of green tomatoes for relish. I got too many tomatoes. I'll lose a couple of small pails. I just didn't have enough time to deal with them.
Have you ever had green tomato chow? We make it every year. It's great with meat dishes..I'm going to do something with my green tomatoes this year. I wish I could jar them and they not get soft.

Do you sell that stuff in your shop?
That's just a stock photo. I make it for us here. I give some away to family. My mother made it as long as I can remember. I love it with meat pie , shepherd's pie, etc...It's very easy to make. Only a few ingredients.Do you sell that stuff in your shop?

Did that last year. I think I'll go a chow chow route. It's similar to chutney with sugar, ACV (remember this one?), water, turmeric, and pickling spices.Green tomato chutney?
I'll check my old recipe book. I know there are a couple of green tomato recipes in there that my dad used to makeDid that last year. I think I'll go a chow chow route. It's similar to chutney with sugar, ACV (remember this one?), water, turmeric, and pickling spices.
