When they're done with you - send them up to meI'm off to buy some big black plastic bags because I've got TWO gardeners here today and they're going to de-jungle-ize my garden.
Watch this space for stray, pythons, rodents, scorpions and lethal stick insects...
I'm then going to make some Chettinad garlic pickle, because a whole kilo of peeled garlic in the fridge is stinking the place out.

3.5" heel?I’m off to my mom’s house, clearing more of my sister’s stuff, she particularly wants all of her books of British history. After this batch, I told her this is it, she has no room at her own house. No more pack rat tendency. Some of her electrical stuff will be donated at a local GoodWill store, they state online, they will take anything working or not.
After this we will go to our favorite British pub and have fish and chips.
In the afternoon, My daughter and I will go return one pair of shoes at the mall, what was I thinking to purchase a 3.5 inch heel at my age. Wishful thinking, lol. Then mom and daughter will go shopping. Yay!

Get you! After decades of ANSI rated safety boots I'm all about nada on my feet.3.5" heel?
I figure 3.5 cm would be too much for me.
I rather keep my feet (heels & toes) onthe ground.
My favourite pair is bare feet![]()
Your woodpile is a *lot* smaller than your avi pic... Get crackin'...I worked from home, then Mrs. GH and I brought 5 or 6 wheelbarrow loads of firewood up to the house, and then we did typical house chores before I made a meatloaf for my teenager who will be coming home late from college tonight.

I know, and have a pallet of Envi blocks on order. (Compressed sawdust bricks.) They make 2.5x the BTUs of typical hardwood by volume, and burn a looonnnnggggg time down to clean, white ash. (We've used them before.) They also come on a pallet that they'll set right in the garage. I know, it's "not the same" as burning real firewood, but we've just had too many projects going at once over the last year to keep up.Your woodpile is a *lot* smaller than your avi pic... Coming from an HVAC background if you're after BTUs then go with what works best! These worked well for 60 ton compressors but at 3000 lbs each were a beeatch to remove/install. It'd take me and 2 others a week...I know, and have a pallet of Envi blocks on order. (Compressed sawdust bricks.) Sounds like a good plan to me.Plans for the rest of the day are drinking beer, sitting by my fire, listening to music and annoying everyone here![]()
I think maybe I’ve missed somethingPlan for today is try to root some of my fig cuttings, I finally bought some sand.
In the afternoon, I’m going to my sister’s house, a cleaner is coming. I found her cleaning one of my neighbors. Now I hope she comes, I did confirm with her last night but you never know. If she does, I’m going to setup a regular cleaning schedule for my sister’s house, not going to let her lapsing back to the old ways. My mom’s house is dirty.
