Plans for today (2025)

my plans are to sit in the dark all day, avoiding the +35C forecast. Given it was 20C at 6am I suspect it will reach that temp.

additionally, I now need to catch up on my courseowrk, so assuming I do not fall asleep from the heat, I will try to get an assignment done.

It's really slowed down around here for the MS jobs.

I'm working on a special candy audit project for RQA (the company that pays hourly and mileage). Two more stores tomorrow and I am done for the rest of the year, unless some more of those Jersey Mike's with a bonus pop up nearby. But I live in a small city without about 250,000 people so there's plenty of work still available, I just refuse to do as much this time of year due to holiday shoppers and traffic. And then the first few months of the year they have to pay a lot to get me motivated to leave the house when it's that cold!

Dentist (done). I now have temporary new teeth.
Start researching recipes for current challenge.
Finish ordering Christmas presents.
Practice speaking with temporary teeth.
Post a prawn curry recipe I made yesterday.

Working from home this morning, then heading to our office group's Christmas party at a local brew pub this afternoon. The formal company-wide one was last friday.
