The level of the river here is controlled by the dam wall as we are downstream of a hydro electric dam.
For some reason or another, they are letting out much less water than prebious years
I thought I had placed my solar pump far enough in the water. I may have to change this, although thats not going to be easy.
But, I can pump direct from the river with my surface petrol water pump.
I have a 5000 litre water tank as well, with lines in place to fill with the solar pump, but also with the petrol pump.
This 5000 litre tank supplies my house, but also my garden via a small hosepipe.
Anyway, all can be used any which way.
But I am currently without any staff and I can't carry the petrol pump by myself.
What I still want to do is place some extra valves and fittings to make it all a bit easier.
I think I should make a drawing to explain better how everything is conected
