We decided to go to our local beach (Znjan) this morning for a swim as we have some visitors this affo. Just got home know, it's very hot. The beach was full of tourists torturing themselves.

We're going on a weekend break to the city of Haarlem tomorrow, staying until monday. It's a short break as my husband has a burn-out and even a short break is still taxing for him, but we're looking forward to relaxing a little and seeing a new place.

I'm off to buy a food mill. Never had one before, never used one before, but MrsT, in her current condition of stitchmouth, has requested mashed potatoes for her next solid food item, but thinks my usual half-mashed ones will be too chunky for her, so food mill it shall be.
For the record, completely smooth mashed potatoes are my least favorite way to eat a potato, so I'll be looking for other things to do with it as well.
Where to put it, that's the next question.

They are great for soup. Particularly soup where you want to sieve out the tough fibrous bits. The best ones have a range of different sieves. Like this:
