I ordered the Dragon Riot shears on Amazon. For 21 bucks, they seem to be decent and hopefully will spatchcock a chicken with ease. I'm anxious to try them out. Thanks, All!

I still need a chicken yet. Upon examining the blade shear, facing edges, and lack of yaw on the longitudinal axis I'll bet good money that these are going to be spot on! There's not even a pressure difference drop along the cutting edges!

Okay, I'm a retired engineer so details DO matter.
