Who started with EVOO? Was that a Rachel Ray thing?
She had to cram all those words into 30 minutes?

Meanwhile...
I just started the next two hours, with the lid off. Stirring every 30 min.
It seems to have gotten more red. Not sure why. Those cherry tomatoes have been dissolved for a while. Except for some skins.

I'm quite sure he does. But he also doesn't eat Reubens. I think he's never had one?

I mainly dislike how she either openly or through silent agreement takes credit for inventing things that, at best, she popularized (EVOO, garbage bowl, etc) - I actually have a great deal of respect for her accomplishments, and when my (current) hometown was nearly ghost-towned out of existence when our main employer left with no warning, she came to town, did a week’s worth of shows from here, totally refurbed our food pantry/kitchen (we had unemployment rates at Great Depression levels at that time) and paid to stock it with food for a year. That’s putting your money where your cutie-patootie mouth is. Again, much respect.

But…her persona on TV, it’s just phony and at times disgusting to me.

And o topic…I’m about to make my last leek challenge entry for supper tonight, and MrsT just announced she’s full, but I have to get this going now because I have to work in a bit, so it’s now or never.

I suspect I am unusual in that respect. I watch a lot of food programmes on TV and read a lot about cooking. Julia Child is well known to me too. There is also the film Julie and Julia.

I don't have a high opinion of Rachael's cooking, from what I've seen. But my motto is that I can learn something from most cooking programmes. Its her mannerisms which I find most off putting.

I've seen a few "shows" they dont bother me.
