Chilli jam is well worth making too, if you ever have an excess of chillies. I have heard of people doing jam in their breadmakers before but never knew that you could purchase a dedicated jam making machine. I expect that they are equally suitable for making chutneys and pickles too. That would be fantastic for anyone who ends up with a surplus of fruit
