Salmon: do you like or dislike it?

Dijon and panko crusted salmon served over homemade risotto served with the house vegetable.
No,no,no,no - far too fussy.  Pan seared, with butter, white wine and capers. The capers and wine cut the fat in the salmon. Salmon are naturally oily fish.

Think I'll just pass on the salmon and stick with the fish I know are great tasting :)

Something wrong with that?
Don't know about others, but generally I'm not a fan of salmon (or any fish/seafood) with mustard - overpowering and incompatible 😅

Wild salmon is a beautiful thing. I usually sprinkle a smidgen of herbes de poisson or dried fines herbes, and pan fry in evoo. Plainer the better to let the salmon shine thru 😁 Tartar sauce or a mayo based sauce on the side for me 🌱

I generally agree, but I made a Maddhur Jaffray recipe that had mustard seed and salmon and it was amazing!

Found it online

Stopped eating farmed salmon some years back. Not horrendous if steamed, but very fatty/oily and a bit fishy when seared at high heat.

Read about what they're fed, how they're farmed etc. Also wasn't keen on the nutritional changes that happen when farmed. Prefer to eat wild, less often.
