You either love it or hate it. Is it only in the UK we eat Marmite? I know in Australia they have Vegemite which is similar. Do other countries have it?

Greece has been the only other place I found it, but that was on the Isle of Rhodes where there was a supermarket that had loads of Waitrose own brand stuff as well!

I think most people outside UK and Australia hate Marmite. There was a poll on the forum I found, posted a while back. Its quite odd really, bakes its such a strong taste, yet I was given it (and gave it to my own kids) from an early age. I sometimes think that those who try it for the first time may not realise that you should use it sparingly.
