I find it interesting that in the Usa and U.K. and in some parts of Canada, that there is a National Food Day 365 days a year ..
In Spain, we have a Tortilla Española Day ( Spanish Omelette) and a Paella Day .. And these National celebrations are historically linked as 99% of our holidays are, to a Saint´s Day or Historic Event such as Constitution Day or a historical Iberian War ..
To return to topic, do you all prepare Brownines on this day and if so, how do you prepare them ? Black chocolate, milk chocolate, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, White chocolate, fudge etcetra ? Classics or modern ?
