Scallops roe on or off

I've always removed the roe off the scallop. There's another thread That also has roe off as well. I watched a tv show and they cooked it roe on, so I've just been given a bag of frozen scallops with roe on and wondered how you prefer yours. The roe is obviously still a good protein.

Its the most delicious part in my view - I would never, ever discard it.

Always roe on but would never use frozen scallops but that might just be the seafood snob in me!!

I'd never use them frozen either. Similarly, frozen lobster just doesn't cut it. For some reason frozen king prawns (shell on) are not so bad.
