Potato cakes made from leftover mash, breakfast sausage, and eggs.
MrsT also had a little lemon-filled doughnut and we shared a fruit plate, which was delicious.
The omelettes look rather good (but butter in packets is not so good). Also, that menu is out of date!
Smoked back bacon, grilled tomatoes and fried egg with urfa chilli flakes (isot biber):
I look at the menu from Rome and think:
"This could be a breakfast menu from any hotel in the world"

Back in the land of milk and honey hard scrambled eggs.
What's all that white stuff? Bechamel sauce?

Next time you’re in Cincy, I have a place I’ll take you to try them, my treat. You’ll like the restaurant - it’s a breakfast diner with a full bar.
That there is white gravy, which is basically a béchamel, with chunks of breakfast sausage, if that is a proper biscuits and sausage gravy.

I have been known in the past to enjoy some vodka in my breakfast OJ in the morning.

Then that's something I have to try next time in Cinci.
BTW, you use the grease from the cooked sausage as the fat to make the roux. If it's not enough, you can add some bacon grease. If you make it with vegetable oil, it won't be right.
