Brekkie on New Year's Day.

It's normally eaten at a local nature reserve, but with life being odd this year, we ended up eating it at home instead.

Too late - I snaffled it down, but it was scrambled eggs with Cheddar, black beans and YMCA potatoes, along with a tsp of my FK hot sauce. Very hot

What we here would call a sausage patty and what you’d probably just call loose sausage meat.

I mixed this up myself, so along with a lot of sage, it’s got some apple in there as well. Very nice.

Most “complete” breakfast plates here will include a side of meat; either bacon, sausage (links or patties), ham steak, or beefsteak.

Yep, that’s one of the best parts about eating breakfast out around the country, all the regional variations - goetta here, scrapple in PA, etc. I love it!
