I used to love getting the giant smoked turkey legs at the amusement parks on vacation when the girls were young. One was big enough for us all to snack on.Smoked turkey, roasted potato, egg on homemade bread toast, and kimchi. Kimchi was half off! SandwichShortOfAPicnic (Reduced price...)

This is a whole thigh!I used to love getting the giant smoked turkey legs at the amusement parks on vacation when the girls were young. One was big enough for us all to snack on.
Last time I said half off you thought it was going bad. Should I quit using undecipherable words like "off"?Lol, I read “half off” as half gone off
I thought you whaaaa? You bought kimchi that was on the turn
Then I re-read it and realised you were saying it’s half price!![]()
It's common US terminology for "discounted". I imagine that kimchi takes quite a bit of fermenting to get to be half gone off. Probably gets a bit better with age!Lol, I read “half off” as half gone off

And stinkier. One of my husband's cousins makes it. I remember DH bringing some home once and when he opened a jar in the kitchen, I could smell it throughout the house. He loved it and consumed the whole jar. But I forbid it from entering the house ever again and said he would have to go over to John's house to eat it because the odor was too repulsive for me, LOL. I am guessing it was very well aged.Just keeps getting sour!
I eat so much of it I'm like "what smell???"... I judge it by the color and clarity/opaqueness of the cabbage. And stinkier. One of my husband's cousins makes it.
