This Sunday's Brunch is "Local-Style" (aka Hawaii Inspired)
canned Lychee for DH as a starter
Portuguese Sausage from Hawaii (I bought this one at the Asian Market in The Big City)
I bought a new measuring cup to scramble eggs up in - I peeled the stickers off and chucked it into the automatic dishwasher before it's first use ---
UMMMM!
Cheap-@$$ Walmart!
all along side that ever present steamed white Rice (missing is the Aloha Shoyu and Furikake).
To wash it all down is a nice big icy cold glass of POG (Passion-Orange-Guava) Juice.
Very Hawaii-style fare.
DH said that he likes this breakfast better than Taylor's Ham (Pork Roll)

Maybe you are thinking of the European meaning of casserole (a type of stew). In the US its something very different.
