Good luck with getting your kitty to the vet. We had an unusual snow like that in Delaware in the ‘90’s, and people were going around on snowmobiles, delivering groceries and taking people to the hospital, if you can believe that.

My little dog Bear used to love bell pepper bits. He'd crunch them all up and leave them on the floor and then his brother, Smokers, would come and eat them.
 
Both were abandoned as tiny puppies on a stoop at an animal shelter in Aruba, which we adopted. Both pics are from tonight.

"Bedtime." The moment I post this and head upstairs, they'll both be on my heels where they'll hop into their usual positions as bedwarmers. The furry one will be the footwarmer, while the lean one will want to burying herself under the covers between my wife and I until morning. She'll hop sides as our positions dictate, but loves to nestle against at least one of us to sleep.
