There's a Poodle Rescue site where you can filter by state and sex. Sunday evening I looked and she was, at the time, the only one in Georgia. I connected with the foster Mom and rented a car to get her yesterday.
Way back in 2004, when we picked up Kate from a foster home, we chatted with homeowner a bit, she told us what little she knew about Kate, and when we finally put her in the car and started to pull out for the 3+ hour drive home, the woman pecked on the car window, I lowered it, and she said, “Oh yeah, one more thing…she’s been havin’ real bad diarrhea since ‘bout last night. Have a safe drive!”Note to self: Don't take the dog riding until the diarrhea is over...
