My sons place has hyperoptic (a dedicated fully fibre job installed in the building during construction) that’ gives a gigabit upload and download. It’s like lightning but the cooking bites website was still slow to completely non responsive.

Was being the operative part of that sentence, seems fine this morning, and that’s back home in hicksville where I can generally run to the green box (telephone line connection cabinet) and back with the info myself before dodgy copper wires can get it to me
