So gas hobs are bad for you?!

Sounds like your purifiers dodgy.

It stands to reason if you burn any fuel you’ll release pollutants.

Whether you want to do that in an enclosed space in your own home is up to you but you can’t skip around the part where particulates are released and are known to be harmful. It’s dismissive.

If you would like confirmation from more reliable sources there’s plenty of stuff from Universities in America on the topic.

there is an age old adage to this:
"The solution to pollution is dilution."

basically, stuff that harms at X parts per million is harmless at X/Y parts per million.
Japan is currently discharging radioactive liquids from their 'nuke accident' at known harmful ppm levels into the open sea,
where it will be diluted to "not harmful ppm"

facts are facts.
opinions are not facts.
science, more often than not . . does not prove opinions to be facts.

I guess one would have to worry about the amount of pollution on a busy UK road. Since the road is outdoors I would imagine that the pollution would dissipate without issue. These kinds of articles are not so much about warning you of health issues as they are about influencing you to reduce the burning of fossil fuels for political purposes. I recommend ignoring it and cooking however you prefer.

I cook on an electric range because we don't get natural gas out here in the country. I have propane only recently installed for the furnace but I haven't gone to the expense of adding propane to the kitchen. I had gas ranges when I lived in suburban Chicago but not out here. We had three whitetail does feeding in the hay field this morning. None of that in suburban Chicago.
