Soft Crust Pizza

Should have been more specific sorry - I meant store bought type like Digorno - the frozen type. Every time I have cooked one the bottom is hard, even when they suggest putting them on a baking pan.

Putting on a pan, a metal one, will certainly cook the bottom. You could try using a piece of the box between the pan and the pizza and perhaps spritzing the box piece with water.

Yeah I know it is - show me where it it is listed when you look in the "FORUMS" what is it under? What is the correct subforum? that link tells me nothing.

Are you following the instructions on the box?
What type of oven are you using?
What do you mean by hard? Do you mean crispy? Or inedible?

A few little tricks for (somewhat) softening those frozen supermarket pizzas…bake it a little longer at a lower temp, make sure it’s on a sheet pan or pizza pan of some sort (most of those pizzas say to bake directly on the rack), and the one that seems to work fairly well…when you take the pizza out of the oven, cover it with something, like a big mixing bowl, and let it rest about 5 minutes - the trapped steam will help soften it. Don’t put it on a cooling rack, either.
