Sparkling Wines

I am not to fond of sparkling water or wine. I like a nice red wine not to dry or sweet. I am trying to expand my taste in wine but find that I still like my White Zinfendel better than anything else I have tried.

i tried a local sparkling ,at a john lewis wine tasting event,i ride through the test valley which is also famous for it trout fishing,past the vineyards every day to work,so its very special to me ,and chilled its a nice glass of bubbles

I agree with some of the above in that I find my taste is just not for the expensive champagne [Way too expensive for my budget anyway] and I actually prefer the cheaper stuff. Other than that I hold to my original plan - if you like it, drink it ! [Although I admit the unleaded stuff is very poor these days].

I'm a big fan of everything sparkling. However, sparkling wine is a poor supplement for champagne. Which I love more than water on the hottest day of the year.
