This is our comfort food in the winter. Far from gourmet but tastes heavenly. Our version contains no mushrooms (champions).
Requires sudden cash and an excercise bike for recovery.

Preparation
Put the stove on medium heat. Sauté/boil the onions with the beef in a high-edged frying pan until all liquid is reduced (= the tenderloin is spoilt; no medium minus here). Add the garlic and mix. Add the flour and mix. Add 0,5 dl water and let set. Add 0,5 dl double cream. Season with beef stock and spices and let simmer on low heat for a couple of minutes. Add the cucumber chunks and set aside. Add salt if needed. Serve with mashed potatoes and watermelon salad.

1 kg of tenderloin, cut into chunks
2 yellow onions, chopped
3 one-clove garlics, chopped
4 tablespoons plain flour
0,5 dl water
0,5 dl double cream
1-2 dl reduced beef stock
1 teaspoon black pepper
0,5 teaspoon ground paprika (dried bell pepper)
1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
4-5 lactic acid -pickled cucumbers (Russian pickles), cut into chunks
(salt)
