Lamb leg at Aldi is less than $8 lb and ground lamb is $6 lb.

I'm gonna go get some lamb shanks somewhere this weekend. My husband is going to be thrilled!
Those are x3 and x2 my meat budget and the Aldi here doesn't carry lamb. Thanks though. 🙏

Are you sure? I was looking on the Aldi website for your area and they had it. It must have been a store in a neighboring city. But that point is moot if it's not budget friendly. Though it is not much more expensive than canned brains, LOL.

Only bought those once a *long* time ago. Like before social security and medical payments. I eat pork trotters for the affordability, not the desire. Closest beef part says "cheeks" on the package. 🫣

I have an IP, I can pressure cook most anything to an edible state. 😆

Well if it was the 70s when you were a teenager, I can't imagine what was going through your "brains" to even buy them!
