@CraigC - it looks as if there are 30 entries for the challenge to date (assuming everyone has tagged entries correctly). Still time for a few more - but I'd say this is a jackpot in terms of the number of entries. :D

First off, I would like to thank everyone for their interesting and creative entries! They have given me inspiration and ideas to create my own dishes, incorporating many of your ideas. I've been going over them for hours, right up to the deadline. I have narrowed it down to four entries:

I couldn't include @medtran49 for https://www.cookingbites.com/threads/key-lime-meringue-pie.12356/, because it would have been an unfair advantage because I got to taste it.

My choices were based on limes being the featured ingredient. There was one that just jumped out at me. So without any further of my ramblings, Congratulations @Kake Lover for https://www.cookingbites.com/threads/lime-and-basil-sorbet.12507/!:bravo:I just wanted to sit down with a bowl of that sorbet with a few shots of blue agave go go juice!
 
Thanks @CraigC for hosting this challenge - I didn't envy you with so many entries to look at! I too was struck by the lime sorbet - such vibrant colours! Well done @Kake Lover :woot:. Its over to you to choose the next ingredient. We've been allowing about 3 weeks for the deadline which seems about right...
 
It has been a very enjoyable challenge. I still have limes left! I was going to make lime ice cream with an extra twist but I ran out of time. If I make it I'll post it up.


Well done to everyone else for all your lovely recipes. I hope you all enjoyed your results.

It's been a fun month. I thought it would go on till about the 9th or so, but I suppose @CraigC is glad that it didn't.

I've got about 7 or 8 left too. I'll find a use for them.

31 recipes is a new recipe milestone. Do you think your ingredient will beat that? I was worried what to do with that and thought that maybe something like Barley would make life easier. :)
