We are earlier than ever this year. We had plans to go someplace last weekend and the weather was too risky so we had a day off with no plans. We decided to just do it and get it over with. How do you like that for xmas spirit?

I was over it in August now its just a pita.

Day by day more and more houses are being trimmed up, too early for me but if it makes folks happy.

Most of the neighbors who do decorate have their stuff up now. We don’t, so I’m way behind. I expect a visit from the neighbors (a la Christmas with the Kranks) shortly!

They put up the official town decorations and tree last weekend.

The other night, DH & I were discussing whether or not to sign back up with Sirius XM Radio for our road trip that's coming up.
We were out and about today and I just randomly turned on our car's radio and saw the "app" on the console display, turned it one AND IT WORKED! I got a message that "your subscription has been updated" - REALLY? How's that?
DH got back into the car with the Margaritaville station playing ... "what did you do?"

DUH, turned it on...
We figure that AI had been listening to our conversation and put out a "teaser" trying to get us to actually sign back up.
Then when we got home and DH was checking his emails for the day, there were two more emails from Sirius with an even better offer ... DH yells out "Hey Sirius! If your listening, give be 24 hours to make up my mind or give me a better deal."
He said he got a thumbs up! Just kidding ...

Difficult about driving a car for the first time at my try out lesson:
Controlling the gear lever and the lights

Easy about driving a car for the first time:
Steering, using the brakes, and getting the car moving.

I really enjoyed it, but have to wait for another 3 weeks to start my real lessons because there's a waiting list.I will learn to drive a manual car.

I did my first trial questions for my driving license theory exam, and it turned out quite well:

During the year, we regularly make charitable donations to this or that and everything in between.
When we walked into our dentist's office the other day, I had forgtten that they were having a "Toys For Tots" drive.
There was a very large box in the entry way... I had to leave DH there for his 'work' for at least 2 hours.
I had already planned on going shopping and while in Walmart, I spied this ADORABLE stuffed Unicorn!

Isn't that just the cutest?
When I came back to retrieve DH, into the box it went for a less fortunate kiddo to enjoy.
