Cor blimey it's hot here in Blighty today! Gonna be the hottest day of the year for us so I've stocked up the freezer at work with Freeze Pops and Jubblys!!

I'm on my second Ice Pole at the moment
It's unbearable where I am. I'm seriously considering installing air con. Its beyond my understaing why people would choose to live in a hot climate. Obviously, many people have no choice.

I'm quite lucky as we recently moved offices to one with windows on both sides of the room so we can actually create a constant breeze which is having a chilling effect on us

I got a choice
But I like hot weather, or more acurately, I hate grey and cold weather.
Mind you, our houses, buildings and everything are build to deal with the heat
There's two of us.
Plus you can wander around in shorts and a T-shirt all day, instead of having to spend a fortune on thermal underwear, ridiculously thick socks, stout shoes, scarves, gloves, overcoats, jackets, ear muffs and silly hats. You can walk down a road any time without freezing you appendages off, slipping on ice or suffering the misery of constant, grey drizzle.
You can also make sundried tomatoes in the back garden.

Here it can get to below zero teens/ -25C in the winter and over 100/38C in the summer. Some houses are built mostly in the ground then the dirt is smoothly mounded over the roof. Once you get 10'/3m down in the dirt the temp is constant around 74/23C degrees.
