Visited Ramsey on the Isle of Man today and think I may have found a winner. There were a lot of places to eat and the high street is one of the few I’ve visited that still has the vast majority of shops and restaurants still open and thriving (high streets are in serious decline everywhere in the UK, with many places empty n boarded up).

It has two reasonable size supermarkets (most places here have only one small co-op or a little Tesco’s) so thats a bonus.
There are lots of other things I liked about Ramsey but top of the list has to be there’s a butcher, a fishmonger and weekly farmers market that runs all year 👏
I read that, for a minute, like you were hobnobbing with Gordon... 😁

I haven't eaten a banana since primary school. Im no good with hot chillies.
I will keep paying $50 it's worth it to stop cramp.. cramp is so painful 😒 😔

I'm not a big fan of bananas so much, but I do like banana cream pie and banana bread (it's really more like a cake). Nuts are rich in magnesium, like really high. A handful of cashews, macadamia nuts, or even nut butter on toast is a good way to up magnesium. I also don't care much for hot chiles. I think that both bananas and peppers are higher in potassium more than they are magnesium.

HUGE storm here right now in Cowboyville Arizona... we NEED to rain so much!
Mothball sized hail pining our windows, dang it!
So far, 1.25" rain in less than an hour, I'll bet our wash is going good.
Just had the roofer here earlier this afternoon buttoning up our storm damage from last month: new roof, new window in the front, glass beading all around, what are those pipes on the roof called? those too. New Gutter Leaf guards, I think that's it.
Maybe he should wait until Monsoon Season is done? Already got our Home Owners Insurance check , so ...

Bananas are definitely high in potassium. The plants need a lot as well
But they are also high in magnesium Top 10 Fruits Highest in Magnesium

This is an interesting one that some of you will already know about and some won’t care 😂

When I eat fish it causes GI upset, usually not terrible but it’s something I’m aware of particularly with my favourite - kippers.

Yesterday I had large amount of John Dory and covered in a very generous amount of Queenies (these are delicious very tiny scallops awarded a DOP) so I expected some after effects but I have had none.

The restaurant fish here in the IOM is incredibly fresh, they have a fishing port and they say it goes straight from the boat onto your plate.

Thing is I’ve been aware of histamine levels rising in food as it ages for a while now.
And even though I know high histamine levels in food commonly cause reactions e,g. Wine causing flushing, stuffy noses, headache etc or that histamine levels in fish can be high enough that it’s regulated in the EU, I still didn’t put two n two together!

That’s another big thumbs up for moving here I think. To be able to go to the port, buy super fresh fish off the boat and eat it with no ill effects! 😊 👏
