I'm reasonably sure you've offended some tribal elder in Ethiopia and I'm reasonably certain that no one dresses like that in Ethiopia. And hopefully nowhere else, either.

Christmas. I suppose I should book. The Morrisons deliveries now come from the local supermarket, not warehouse, so I can see them running out of all sorts in the few days before. As it is, there are more subs and absences than when they came from the warehouse.

Half my shopping (I kid you not HALF) was missing today. Also lots of things I used to be able to get are no longer available.
I was annoyed the kid delivering didn’t ask me if the subs were ok (three large blocks of cows milk cheddar swapped for vegan cheese?!) but now I get why he looked so miserable and dumped the shopping and ran, they must of been having an awful morning.

When I rang for a refund on the cheddar they said ring back later the system wasn’t updating, I rang back later they said oh yes sorry but we can’t do refunds at the moment, the systems playing up. I’m thinking as Morrisons is teetering on the brink of bankruptcy that this is the sort of move that may finish them off

If M&S are ruthless enough as they already own Ocado and the Gist distribution network they could have shoved Morrisons out of their slick warehouse operations (which they were using) to watch it fall on it’s knees and buy up the good bits nice n cheap

They own 50% of the supermarket part and 100% of Gist which is Ocado’s logistics arm (the bit that makes the money) so they rule the roost there now.

Ocado and Kroger also have a working partnership here in the US, in the behind-the-scenes automatic warehousing area.
