I'm not far away from putting Xmas lights up outside. I get a kick at seeing them, and watching people look at them as they walk past.

I feel like a bilge rat, literally!

I spent the night climbing around the engine room and hatches in the bilge of my friends boat tonight trying to fix the aft head. The switch that power flushes the toilet stopped working, so I was trying to see how difficult it will be to cut out the harness, pull out the switch and test it.

The only place worse than underneath and behind a toilet on a ship is the bilge below it. Yuck.
