The Good News Thread

DH & I have been so VERY sick with influenza type A1 - not the nice one!
We had to call 911 and have EMS take DH to the hospital, he was WAY worst off than me and he stayed for 2 days.
Somewhere along the way, he was coughing so hard he had a heart attack - thank GAWD for his dual ICD that kicked him back to the curb! I was not far behind him and there was no way that I could have driven him to the hospital. He wound up with the same doctor that I had during my stay in the hospital about 2 years ago. Nice doc who use to practice in HAWAII!!!
Good News: we're both better (if not all the way) now and kick it!
Blimey, how frightening. It really is good news you’re on the other side of it. Sending hugs

Not sure if that's a sad face, a wow or a like... glad you're feeling a bit better

Mounted my solar LED lawn lights on the side of the porch so I can quit running over them with the mower.

This is the nicest thing (if you’re an animal lover) I walk this dog, she’s a Romanian rescue called Jess. The dog is really nervous and slightly aggressive due to the nerves. However, with me she is amazing. Just wants to please, it makes me feel truly grateful: I can do anything with this dog ( put her harness on, have her obey commands off lead) when I’m just there talking to her owner, she comes and presses her head against me. It’s the most beautiful thing.

I know several men who did the Restart thing.
all except one were very soon looking for the Undo button . . . .
This is about restarting all the things that cancer made me shut down; I have bought gig tickets, booked a holiday for August, boxed up all the treatment parafanalia and made a list of chores to clear in the next few weeks to put everything in my life where it should be.

A few weeks back, we got an email from our Wireless provider with an unbelievable offer.
I hung on to it until we two were well enough to go out and "do business".
DH's head is still a bit fuzzy, but I understood what was being discussed and how the offer worked.
The sales person in the store claimed to not be able to find that offer, until I showed her that email, "oh, I didn't see that one..."
YEAH, SURE!
Well, the Good News is that both DH & I got brand spankin' new iPhones FOR FREE, AND we didn't have to change our smokin' monthly plan of service that I signed us up on WAY BACK in the day and now longer offer.
The only thing we had to pay was $30 for each line to set-up the new phones and load in all of our information from old to new phones, pretty dang good!!!
