The motorbike thread

An that is how it should be, but as SSOAP said - there is always that "element" ...... be it in forums or in real life. I have to admit, no one has ever bothered or insulted me because of my bike in the real world, like with you - most have been complimentary or say nothing at all.

Ditto.
IRL there are very few people who would be so rude but from behind a keyboard is another matter.

The ‘what bike you ride’ does transfer a bit into real life. I had a Himalayan which I used to ride too n fro to Spain and I was on the receiving end of multiple sneery looks and sometimes comments when I got on the ferry riding that!

There's always somebody... 😕

(Not you, the sneery types.)

So, how cold (or miserable) does it have to get before you put yoour bikes away?

For me, as soon as the temps drop below 65 - 70 F my bike goes in its house. Not a big fan of voluntarily riding in the wet either :)

Yep - I knew that I really did. Why I used an abbreviation is beyond me AGAIN!

Oh and the question applies to anyone who rides as well :)

I’m practicing quoting, first successful quote, haha.
Congradulations - keep it up

I want to say, you can do that while driving too, just roll down the window.
All that comes to mind is this:

Nah - more fun on a bike :D

I just enjoyed riding. Maybe a sense of freedom or so.
Not riding here anymore. Too many very poor and inconsiderate car & truck drivers
Riding is a risk we take every time we go out ... most cage drivers are pretty good around here as there are a lot of bikes so they are used to them being on the road. It is the tourists that cause us the most trouble and idiot girls on cell phones while "trying" to drive despite that being illegal here. And yes - the majority ARE girls I am sorry to say :(
